Access to travel insurance service made easier

Accessing insurance plans as easily as sending a few text messages will soon be a reality thanks to FijiCare Insurance Ltd.
At a product launch event for their newest offerings, the Comprehensive Travel Insurance Cover and VuvaleCare, an online platform for bundled microinsurance, FijiCare announced that travellers to Fiji may be able to engage with their travel insurance plan via Viber as early as eight weeks from date.
Having received a positive response to their Visitor’s Insurance plan offered at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, FijiCare has elected to expand the product to offer a Comprehensive Travel Insurance cover that includes medical, COVID-19, and accidental death beneﬁts.
Both visitors to Fiji and citizens of Fiji who go abroad are eligible for the cover.
The event also marked the launch of VuvaleCare, an online platform through which the bundled microinsurance product is offered. The bundled microinsurance cover provides for funeral assistance, term life, ﬁre on dwelling, and personal accident insurance coverage.
