MAUI Palms has been bestowed with the Trip Advisors Peoples Choice Best of the Best Winner this year.

Owners of the boutique beachfront resort – Wayne Downs and Christine Badia said the recognition would not have been possible without the continuous support and loyalty of their beloved guests, who inspire the couple to believe in their product and push boundaries and raise the bar for excellence in the industry.

“To us this award serves as a testament to the dedication, passion, and commitment of our entire team in undertaking our $3.2 million expansion right in the midst of Covid so that we could keep the majority of our hotel staff employed and with the added facilities we now have we are able to provide an even more exceptional and unforgettable experience to our valued guests from around the world,” said Ms Badia.

She said it was a highly competitive recognition that showcased excellence and innovation in the hotel industry on an international scale.

“Our boutique hotel was selected from a pool of top contenders from around the South Pacific including New Zealand and Australia which makes this achievement all the more significant.

“We take great pride in being the recipient of this prestigious honour, as it reaffirms our commitment to delivering unparalleled service and creating cherished memories for our guests and rings true to our slogan. Maui Palms Fiji is ‘a little bit of perfect’.

“As owners, she said they were only too well aware that their success in winning this award and others over the past decade was a testament to the hard work, creativity, and passion of their entire team, from the dedicated friendly genuine staff who provide exceptional service to the talented chefs who craft exquisite culinary experiences whilst often multi-tasking if need be.
