Minam elected as first vice chairman of ADFIAP

Fiji Development Bank’s chief executive officer Saud Minam has been elected as one of the three vice chairman of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP).

The decision was made during the 46th Annual Meeting of ADFIAP held in Kazakhstan, from May 15 to 17.

“The appointment of these three accomplished individuals as vice chairmen reflects ADFIAP’s commitment to strengthening its leadership and fostering collaboration among its member institutions,” stated an ADFIAP statement.

“Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will contribute to the association’s collective efforts in addressing the challenges of sustainable development financing, fostering economic growth, and promoting financial inclusion in the Asia-Pacific region.

“As ADFIAP moves forward with its mission, the association is poised to leverage the wealth of experience and knowledge these three vice chairmen bring to the table.

“With their guidance and collective wisdom, ADFIAP is well-positioned to drive positive change and advance sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific.”
